Jeff Sutton: Complimentary Care for ConcussionsIn recent years, a spotlight has been placed on brain concussions due to an increasing awareness of their potentially devastating effects on long-term health. National health organizations and professional sports leagues have been granting tens of millions of dollars toward academic research in order to improve prevention, detection, and management of concussions. Of course, it isn’t only athletes who are at risk. The findings, as they continue to evolve, are a benefit to everyone who suffers the #1 most common form of traumatic brain injury. This talk will review the recommendations and tools published in the recent International Consensus Conference on Concussion in Sport, and it will be presented within a complementary health care context. Attendees will gain access to the most current information on the subject and will be guided in developing biofeedback stress and pain management programs to support a safe return to school, work, and play. |

Kim Marchuk: Healing At The Speed Of LightOur health is a reflection of our beliefs. Some of these beliefs can anchor us into chronic conditions that we cannot heal easily. Yet, in today’s age, we have the potential to heal as quickly as we choose. It may seem confusing where to start, but I believe the only place to start is by activating the healer within us. We have been gifted with the tools to heal, yet are told that healing comes from things outside of ourselves. When we invest inward, the journey becomes clear and full of magic. As a practitioner, when we can empower others on their healing journey, we become a true leader. Learn what this looks like, feels like and sounds like. I will guide you through activating your inner healer and teaching you how to do it for others. I will show you different techniques through biofeedback to support the release of these anchors. Sometimes a shift in perspective can be a miracle in itself. Are you ready to see things from a whole new light? |
